After the new lines were all run it was time to demo the walls and the ceiling. What a mess that job was plaster really is heavy to remove-But with a great deal of help from son-O'Neill it was removed...
In addition to the new plumbing lines that Greg and I ran,O'Neill helped run some new electrical lines as the the previous lines were all ungrouded two wire service.
OK-Window is out and time for the subfloor installation.
O'Neill kept a "map"of all the underlying joists in the floor and studs in the wall so we wouldn't nail into new plumbing lines or electrical service.
After the subfloor was installed I framed out the new window.
Window is installed and wall is insulated.
New drywall is up and started.
I was able to demo the old window and install the new one all from the inside-including painting the outside trim-It helps to have long arms!
